Design Process
Working with the client from pre inception through the design, application, build and delivery of their new home
1. Initial Chat & Development
Meeting with the client to understand the scope of work and budget expectations. Further exploring the clients requirements and high level design expectations. Explanation of the end to end process and initial steps needed.
2. Design Brief
Working with the client and an architect we help outline the possibilities of the property and any potential limitations that need to be respected.
3. Functional LayoutS & Floor Plan
Through the requirements gathering stage, we understand the clients needs, goals and design style. An architect will start developing floor plans to incorporate all these needs within the allowable footprint.
4. 3D Designs & 2D Drawings
As the floor plans are finalized the architect will develop the exterior of the house and possible hardscape.
5. Products & Materials
Through meetings with the builder, architect and interior designer various elements of the house will be reviewed and refines for designs and finishes
6. Implementation
Once the complete set of construction drawings are finalized and a permit is issues by the local municipality then the work is scheduled and implemented. The implementation work is centrally managed by the builder while dependent on the collaboration between the clients, architect and interior designer.
